Our Fleet

Premium Quality Fleet

At Attrans it is believed that all actions are taken (or not taken) to manage human activities with a view to prevent, reduce or mitigate harmful effects on nature and natural resources, and ensuring that man-made changes to the environment do not have harmful effects on humans.

Attrans Environmental Policy focuses on problems arising from human impact on the environment, which retroacts onto human society by having a (negative) impact on human values such as good health or the 'clean and green environment'.

This led to Attrans investing heavily in Euro 4 and Euro 5 Volvo vehicles. These vehicles were introduced in the fleet in order to meet the new emissions requirements that have been introduced in Europe in 2006 (Euro 4) and 2009 (Euro 5). Volvo tractor units are at the very forefront as regards the development of exhaust reducing techniques. The solution for meeting the Euro 4 and Euro 5 incentive requirements is diesel engines with even more efficient combustion, along with after-treatment of exhaust gases using the AdBlue additive and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction).

Types of specialist vehicles currently in the fleet:

Refrigerated trailers:                                                                                                          Attrans has recently invested in new refrigerated trailers. These trailers are operated throughout Europe using the latest technology to offer customers flexible loading options which create cost and efficiency advantages. The trailers have computerised chill and freeze facilities that allow the driver to monitor the status of the load at any point in time during the journey. Internal movable separators allow any combination of ambient, chilled and frozen goods to be carried in a single load. Satellite tracking and precise scheduling maintains consistently achievable time-sensitive delivery levels.

High Volume MEGA trailers:                                                                                           MEGA container type trailers have been specifically introduced in the Attrans fleet to carry high volume or light cargo. Volume of these trailers varies from 98cbm up to 105cbm. These trailers are designed and built in order to withstand ro ro operations. Continuous investment in this type of trailer is a key factor in fulfilling our zero damage policy towards our clients. Mega trailers are specially built trailers with a lower bed height  thus reducing the loading deck to the lowest possible level, maximising the internal volume. Their internal height exceeds that of a standard tilt or Tautliner, allowing suppliers to maximise space and thereby result in more cargo being transported in a single movement. This type of trailer could load many types of product in various ways.

Other types of MEGA Trailers:

MEGA Curtainsiders - cargo is loaded through the sides.

MEGA Euroliners - cargo is loaded through the roof by the use of a special opening roof mechanism. The roof could also be lifted to maximise the access for larger items.

Low loaders and flat bed trailers:                                                                                       Attrans also operates various low loaders and flat bed trailers used for special transports. Such equipment is used for moving heavy equipment such as machinery and plant for all sectors of Industry.

13.60Box Trailers:                                                                                                        Normal box trailers are used for FTL's whos load does not exceed 85cbm.
